Flanked by two lounge areas in the center court of the shopping mall, the feature was conceived to provide entertainment and relaxation to the shoppers. It consists of a grid of glass plates that create the illusion of floating over a rectangular basin. There are four jets placed under each glass plates. As the jets impact the underside of the plate, they spread and collide with one another, resulting in animated water patterns. The patterns slowly transform from delicate geometric lines to pearl-like droplets as the pressure of the jets changes. Water falling from the edges of the glass plates creates a soothing sound, providing shoppers with a moment of tranquility. At the center of each glass plate is a circular opening. A field of marble-sized water globules emerges from these openings as well as from small clear cones placed in between the plates. The water marbles pulse and chase in playful sequences of movement providing shoppers with entertainment.
