This water feature is located at the Mall of the Emirates Shopping Mall in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The South Entrance Feature is sited in the lake between the shopping center and the parking garage and is comprised of two interrelated elements, NanoShooters® and MicroShooters®. The first is an interactive water feature rising from a circular peninsula that reaches from the shore into the lagoon. A field of over 100 individually programmed, pulsing jets, NanoShooters, provides a vertical presentation and is arranged in five concentric rings. Encircling this interactive presentation is a ring of fog columns rising from 12 locations. Depending on the weather conditions, the fog columns can reach up to three meters in height. At night, white lights, enhancing the central statement of the island, light the water jet performance from the pavement. Extinguishing the lights allows for projection of swirls of color onto the fog field.

The second element is a large, iconic water presentation emanating directly from the lagoon. The water performance from this element is comprised of an undulating array of larger, vertical water columns, MicroShooters, which reach 15 meters at the heights of their programmed displays. Numbering nearly 80, these water columns act both individually and in concert to provide a pulsing, kinetic water show that further enhances the choreographic variety and punctuate the presentation with dramatic moments, above the lagoon.

At night, programmatically controlled colored lights further expand the theatricality of the show by illuminating the water streams. Both water performances can be choreographed to music should the client wish to do so in the future.
