One floor up from Emaar Square's main thoroughfare, visitors find a courtyard filled with the sounds of flowing water. The centerpiece of this meeting place is Gallant, an elegant rise of terraced pools. Once music begins to play the fountain comes alive. As if defying gravity, fans of water flow upward from pool to pool. When fans part, they reveal pillars of bubbling water. Suddenly, flames erupt from within the spray and together, water and fire perform a mesmerizing duet. The display grows into a flurry of movement as the music reaches its peak. Accenting the final beat, fireballs surge into the night sky illuminating the courtyard in red light. As the music diminishes, fire disappears into the air and water flows gracefully back into the basin.
